But now I have got Monty Python and I have had him almost 18months. I also ride my brother’s youngster called Percy, he is extremely cute. Monty and Percy act like brothers, Monty chases Percy thinking he’s the head of the field, biting Percy’s bum, then Percy, when Monty is rolling, goes and nips  Monty, it is hilarious to watch!!!!!

I’v come to tell you how I have been doing these past (almost) 2 years. To start off with I went to Junior camp with Dennis and Holly one of the instructors said her niece has got a great pony that is for sale. We tried Monty at Junior camp and my mum and I really liked him, so we bought him!!!!!!

After around a year of practising and training I really got to grips with my competing. I won my first 2”6 ODE, got champion in the WHP Cotts hunt show, winning in my arena at the area dressage and loads more.

I broke Percy in myself, as he is on loan and was used  for driving, all we know is Percy was a gypsy pony . We got him for my brother Charlie so he could start riding and join Pony Club. When we tried him, I got on him first and he cantered off with me into another field!!The only saddle he had was so smaller children could ride and as I’m heavier than a toddler, the saddle went right over!!!We decided to get Percy anway because we are free to give him back whenever we want. We have had Percy for a year in February. Since then I have been working on teaching him the leg and hand aids. Now he knows all of the aids, and is a fabulous jumping pony. I jumped over a 2 “6 course with him in a competition, thinking it was a 2”3 class and he did really well!!!!!!!! I am so pleased with how he has turned out and I am so proud!!
