Amazingly, resi camp was even better than we had expected, maybe because of the brilliant organisation of activities and games by Kate Morley or perhaps because of the last minute addition of more Y chromosomes.

Everyone had the time of their lives and it was all we could do not to cry on the last day! The highlights included skinny hopping, chase me Charlie and the mad treasure hunt. Every night we were carted off to Stamford leisure pool for a quick dip to wash mud off our faces. This must have worked and many people who attended the party on Tuesday night said we had scrubbed up quite well!

To list but a few of the most interesting things about resi:
Zoe and Kate Morley found common ground in hoovering their yards and polishing the metalwork of the stables!
On Tuesday night, L.Dizzle graced us with her rendition of ‘my heart will go on’ in the car park, much to Kate’s delight. Who would have thought our D.C. could have bred such musical talent?
The babies (Diana, Lizzie, and Bethany) learnt how not to behave when they get to 19, (do not chat up Stamford leisure pool lifeguards.)
Kat was the fastest person ever to bite the dust and evidently likes Kate’s rubber surface after planting her face in it after only two minutes while her sister Susie definitely didn’t behave like a dumb blonde at any point during the week.
Team Cardew became as infamous as expected as Jerry was the best behaved on the ride and jumped an impressive 1m30 in chase me Charlie.
Amy McFail not only jumped the highest in chase me Charlie but also grinded the lowest on the dance floor.
J.Town and G.face were both likened to Riding Action Man in many ways and it will potentially be only a few weeks until they too can do clap press-ups like the incredible Samuel.

Chazza and Teddy were a vision of Pony Club perfection, until they flew wildly past Zoe and Timmy on the ride. This did not go down well as Timmy was the only male at camp Zoe couldn’t control.
Finally – look out for us performing poker face at the finish line at Burghley horse trials (because this is DEFINITELY going to happen!)
