AREA 6 INTER BRANCH JUMPCROSS COMPETITION

On Thursday August 9^th 2007 the Burghley hosted the first ever, and hopefully of many, inter branch JumpCross Competitions at Wittering Grange courtesy of Robin and Di Dunlop and their team.

It was a brilliant day, enjoyed by all, including the Cottesmore, Fernie, South Notts and South Trent who were our visiting pony club branches. Hopefully they will spread the word of this great new event, and next year it will be an even bigger occasion.

Special thanks go to George Dolby for all his hard work and many hours on the telephone, organising the event, and helping to make it such a wonderful experience for all who took part.

Thanks also to everyone involved with the smooth running of this competition, we couldn’t do it without you, and to all the competitors, their parents and their ponies for supporting the day.
