The Burghley Junior  team (all under 13 on 1^st Jan) won the Novice Team Competition on 3^rd June 2010 at Shelford.  Silas Mson led his section after the dressage and was carried through to victory in the team event by the girlies after a mishap on his second pony  in the showjumping (course walking pays dividends he is now convinced)!  Individual placings of 1^st  Diana Bevan on Prestwood Smokey Gin, 1^st  Bethany Fitt with Murphy, and 5^th  Greta Mason on Peggy, all completing on the their dressage scores after double clears in showjumping and cross-country left them gleefully picking up the blue team first place rosettes.  Silas redeemed himself in the Intermediate competition by finishing 3^rd on his first pony Spot the Magic finishing on his dressage score with a clear in showjumping and a storming clear in the cross-country.
