Class 1 may be entered more than once, with the highest score per competitor to count.
Those entering Class 1 may not enter Classes 3,4,5,6 and 7.
Classes 1, 2 and 3 may be commanded.
Teams must be formed with two riders entered in classes 1 through 3 and two riders in classes 4 through 7.
Three highest scores to count for team score.
Teams of three are permitted in the absence of a fourth member.
Teams can not be entered once competition has  commenced.

ENTRY FEES PER CLASS;

 

Burghley PC members £6.00. Others £8.00.
 If an individual is entered as part of a team, please add £1.oo per competitor.
Teams formed on the day will be able to pay then.
Pony Club branches may enter more than one team.

 Entries to be made on the entry form and sent with fees to Mrs Margaret Spain
 by 23rd May 2008. No entry fee will be refunded for withdrawals after the close of entries.

 Late entries may be accepted at an additional £3 per class. 

Withdrawals must be notified to the secretary to allow those on a waiting list to be fitted into classes.

Individual rosettes awarded to 6th place, team rosettes to 4th.

A shield will be presented to the highest placed Burghley PC member in each class. A keep trophy to the winner of each class.

A trophy will be presented to the Burghley PC member who achieves the highest percentage on the day.

 

Dressage times will be available from the secretary on Thursday 5th June on

07905 100779 or 07971 195364 between 7pm and 9pm. Times also available on

A riding hat must be worn correctly fastened when mounted. All Riders must wear a hat that conforms to the Pony Club hat rule and be tagged with a Pony Club hat tag.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

                 The competition will be judged in accordance with Pony Club Dressage rules for 2006.
 

                 Objections, accompanied by a deposit of £10, should be made to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the completion of the class. The judges’ decisions are final.
 

                 Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
 

                 Any vehicle parking must be within the designated area and competitors may only ride within the show fields.

 THE ORGANISERS, OWNERS AND OCCUPIERS OF THE LAND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, THEFT, ACCIDENT OR INJURY INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS EVENT TO ANY PERSON, ANIMAL, VEHICLE OR EQUIPMENT.

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser, stewards and officials.

 Please do not skip out boxes or leave litter.

Photographic rights: all participants and their parents or guardians give permission for any photographs taken by the designated photographer(s) at the event to be developed for sale and/or to be published on the Burghley Pony club website, for the purposes of publicity of the Pony Club. We will select photographs for publication with care and respect for those shown.
