Emily and Catherine’s day at the Fitzwilliam O.D.E! |
|
Catherine and Emily had a marvellous day at the Fitzwilliam ode both making friends and getting brilliant results. With great weather the day just got better and better.
Charm and I had done a couple of ode’s already this year but we had slight hiccups on the x-country because we hadn’t prepared ourselves having had a winter off. So during the last few weeks we have had some good training sessions with our trainer Toni Brown and things really came together for us at the Fitzwilliam. Our dressage was good being 6 points clear of everyone else with a dressage score of 30.0. I did a show jumping that could have been a lot better but still we did a clear round. Then it was time for our favourite discipline the cross country we did a fun and exiting clear. I ended up winning my class by 14 points and got a huge silver cup.
It was Abbie and my first O.D.E for ages I thought I would do really badly but in the end it turned out great. I didn’t have many dressage lessons beforehand but I did ok with a score of 47.5. I went clear in the show jumping, which was a really good smooth round then it came to the cross country my favourite discipline, it was really fun and I enjoyed it so much so it all turned out great and I ended up with third place and of course a green mug.
Emily and Catherine (Abbie and Charm) teamed up with the Belvoir and ended up winning a silver cup.
