Calling All Mini's that would be interested in Show Jumping Training over the Autumn and Winter months.

I am organising some training dates for anyone interested in progressing with their jumping over the winter.

I would appreciate if anyone interested could e-mail and let me know

1. their name

2.e-mail address

3.age

4. stage at the moment (i.e what you are currently doing at the moment jumping wise with your pony) this can be from just learning to jump, trotting poles and very tiny stuff up to jumping a course of up to 2ft 6 (or more) I want to make sure we are offering suitable groups for everyone interested in coming along.

If we organise the first few quite quickly we can use the jumps and fields at Burghley and then we will move to Wittering Grange to jump on a surface when the ground is not as good. I am going to try and get dates approx every 3 weeks and they will be at a weekend (please let me know which day,sat/sun and time of day am/pm you would prefer and I will go with the majority)

I will try where possible to get the instructors to do at least 3 sessions so they can see the progression of the children and the children get continuity with their instructor

The price will depend on the numbers attending and the price of the instructor/venue etc but I will obviously try and keep it as low as possible.

Please register your interest ASAP so I can get on with organising things as soon as possible.

I have spoken to a few interested parties already and we have such a strong group of mini's at the moment we should hopefully be able to get a great group going over the winter in preparation for next year.

Don't be shy this is not a competition it is open to everyone who is interested you don't have to be a great show jumper already it is all about learning.

I look forward to hearing from lots of you

Any questions please ask

Showjumping Training 13.2hh and under ( anyone welcome of any size)

Anyone wishing to join in the fun of showjumping.

We are hoping to have as many members as possible to compete for the Burghley in team showjumping. The training sessions can be for anyone just wanting to jump, but also for those members who wish to be part of a team.

Teams will be made up of :- 10 yr and under – 60cm 2ft

                                         12.2hh and under – 70cm – 2ft3”

                                         13.2hh and under – 85cm – 2ft9”

You do not need to be an experienced showjumper but, you do need to be off the lead rein and be able to jump a few jumps together. The rest will come with practice. Age is as of the first of January. I am planning to book the first sessions which will consist of an hour of training for each ability. ( I need to know who is interested so I can book a trainer and venue for the appropriate length of time) I was thinking of holding sessions at Laughton Manor, Sissons Farm, Woodnewton nr Peterborough, Pinchbeck and maybe Wittering. These will depend on the cost of hire as I want to keep the prices down to a minimum. Please contact me asap as I’d like to get started. The first session could be as soon as next weekend if I get prompt replies.
