PONY CLUB YEAR ONE INTRODUCTION TO COACHING COURSE
Brooksby. Thursday 15th July, approx 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
This course is the first year of a two year programme (Year 2 will be run in 2011). It is suitable both for members who are 16+ with C Test and above (preferably their C+ or B), or parents/volunteers who wish to commence coaching in their branches. Once Year one is completed graduates will be able to start to instruct in their branches under close supervision and support. Participants will be expected to ride during the course. It is not suitable for current instructors wishing to update their accreditation. Course Tutors Peter Hales BHSI and Linda Pearce BHSI.
Cost £10 per head. Tea/coffee/soft drinks will be provided, but please bring packed lunch. Places are limited and priority will be given to those who plan to return next year for the Year Two Course and carry on to do the Pony Club Coaching Certificate. AREA 6 LUNGEING TEST
Brooksby Thursday 12th August.
Fee £20 (plus £10 surcharge if Centre horse used).
AREA 6 AH TEST
Brooksby Monday 6th September
Fee £80. Candidates must have both B Test (either full or Horse & Pony Care) and the Lungeing Test. Provisional entries will be accepted from those taking the Lungeing Test in Summer 2010 – if they do not pass it the fee can either be returned for retained for 2011.
