Resi Camp 09

Much disappointment is felt by the girls who have put their names down for this years Resi because the very gorgeous George and the ever-more handsome polocrosse king J.Town are not going to be attending. They have both denied allegations that this has anything to do with the reported story of the relationship between Katie Cardew and jockey Jacob Windsor

However, many of the girls hopes have been restored by the news that they may be making a special appearance for the BBQ on the last night, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time putting their names down after all.

This years Resi has the potential to be even more exciting than daily camp which saw team extreme demonstrating jumping with no hands AND no stirrups.

Members attending are Susie Bliss (Suze, Flusy Susie) who may not yet have recovered from her experience at area SJ where she definitely didn’t pull her horses shoe off on purpose to be able to take him to the sexy farrier…

The upgraded edition of Susie, sister Kat Bliss (KB, K.Bliss) who is a late addition to the camp having shocked everyone with her surprise return from the other side of the world.  Let’s just hope she can learn the ‘poker face’ dance moves in time…

Katie Cardew (K.dog, Crazy Katie) also returning from the other side of the world, unites with the King of Daily camp (pony Jerry) to form what will become the infamous Team Cardew. The real wild child, Charlie Parkin (Chazza) who hopefully can improve on her mediocre attempt at Area SJ….(!) on Teddy who excelled himself at daily camp, showing up the rest of Team Extreme.

More big smiles expected from the lovely Amy McPhail (A.Bizzle) and talking of smiles who could forget the brains behind Burghley pony club, the increasingly famous Lisa Reid (L.Dizzle). Cries of ‘If you don’t do what I want I’ll tell my Dad!’ could be heard resounding round Burghley Park during the week of daily camp. Will Newstead be any different when it is descended upon by this member?!

She has swapped her heavy hunter for her own pony Archie who is apparently very photogenic (ask L.dizzle for pictures of Area SJ…)

The babies of the camp include Bethany Fitt, Diana Bevan and Anya Mulhern. Lets hope they’ve got what it takes to be attending this camp with the older members when potentially lethal initiations could be lurking just around the corner…

Zoe Andrew (Z.dog, Zoatron,). We’re really not sure how she managed to get queen of daily camp after arrogantly clambering aboard Fly , the mad pony belonging to Alice Turner thinking she could ride better than Amazing Alice, only to be carted round the field 400 times, ( at least she kept her language clean).

This leaves us with the talk of camp, the awe-inspiring Samuel Andrew (Riding Action Man,) who regrettably missed daily camp having pummelled rugby players all over South Africa, so no ones actually seen him yet this summer but rumour has it that he is now more powerful and more breath-taking than ever before (can the impossible really be possible?)
