An extract from a recent email being circulated:
Hi Christina,
Unfortunately one
of our members was hit by a car when riding yesterday
morning. Susie is shaken but will be ok.
Kelly - her horse
has had 91 stitches, but will make a full recovery.
The driver had been blinded by the sun and had not seen Susie.
Susie's mum has asked me
to make an appeal to all riders
to wear their fluorescent road wear in the summer too.
It might just have made a difference.
